SriLankan Airlines enhances customer support with AI chatbot ‘Yaana’

 

SriLankan Airlines has introduced 'Yaana,' an AI-powered chatbot designed to revolutionize its customer support services. 'Yaana' leverages cutting-edge artificial intelligence and natural language processing to effectively address a wide range of passenger inquiries.  

According to Dimuthu Tennakoon, Head of Worldwide Sales and Distribution at SriLankan Airlines, 'Yaana' has already processed nearly 12,000 inquiries, achieving an impressive 88% autonomous resolution rate. This demonstrates the chatbot's ability to handle customer issues efficiently and independently.  

Developed in partnership with CodeGen International, 'Yaana' is now accessible on SriLankan Airlines' official website. The chatbot's multilingual capabilities, supporting English, French, and Spanish, further enhance its accessibility and cater to a diverse customer base
